ECOPHILIA NOW International Festival 2026 marks the 3rd edition of the international multidisciplinary festival dedicated to ecological awareness, feminist and inclusive artistic practices, and collective imagination. Building on the momentum of previous editions, the festival brings together artists, researchers, activists, and communities from Greece and across Europe to explore how art can nurture new forms of ecological care, coexistence, and social transformation.
In 2026, ECOPHILIA NOW acts as the Lead Festival of the EFFEA – European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists programme, fostering international artistic mobility and long-term collaboration. Within this framework, the festival partners with Dallas Delivery Festival, organised by Artipic Association (Romania) and Cres Fringe Festival & Retreat (Croatia), supporting emerging artists through residencies and presentations, strengthening cross-border collaboration and knowledge exchange within the European festival ecosystem.
The 2026 programme features performances, exhibitions, workshops, talks, and participatory actions that engage with collective action, ecological repair, and more-than-human dialogue. Through embodied artistic experiences and critical discourse, ECOPHILIA NOW 2026 invites audiences to rethink how we live, create, and care for our shared ecosystems—locally and across Europe.
