ECOPHILIA NOW 2025 continues to grow as a vibrant cross-border platform for artistic, ecological, and social exchange. Bringing together over 20 artists, activists, environmentalists, and thinkers from across Europe — including Greece, Hungary, Spain, Italy, Brussels, Ukraine, Denmark and India — the festival invites audiences to imagine new ways of living, creating, and caring within our shared ecosystems.
Rooted in the concept of ecophilia — the love and friendship (philia) for our common home (eco) — the festival re-examines how art can foster deeper connections between humans and the natural world. Through performances, video-works, sound, talks, and workshops, ECOPHILIA NOW 2025 explores how feminist and inclusive practices can reshape our understanding of nature, urban space, equality, and coexistence.
This year’s edition focuses on collective action, ecological imagination, and the possibility of repair and renewal through new forms of dialogue that would include non-human lifeforms. ECOPHILIA NOW 2025 celebrates collaboration, diversity, and solidarity as tools for environmental and social transformation, inviting all to participate in rethinking how we inhabit and care for the Earth together.
